Maltings Park

About Maltings Park

Maltings Park was laid out in 1993 by the Cardiff Bay Development Corporation (which developed Cardiff Bay). It was developed on an area that once housed warehouses and industrial buildings.

In 2023, the park was re-landscaped to create different levels throughout. The northern end of the park is laid out with hard surfaces, to allow for local events. The central area benefits from mature trees, shrubs, a wildflower meadow and grass. The south of the park contains the playground, natural play area, Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) and skate park.

Maltings Park is one of Cardiff’s Green Flag parks .

The park is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
